Job Description

The Banquet Sales Executive is responsible for generating banquet and event business, coordinating with clients & operational departments, and ensuring successful planning and execution of events such as weddings, corporate meetings, conferences, and social functions. The role focuses on sales, client relationships, and event coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new banquet and event business opportunities
Handle inquiries for weddings, conferences, parties, and corporate events
Meet clients, understand their requirements, and prepare customized proposals
Conduct site inspections and venue tours for potential clients
Negotiate pricing, packages, and contracts
Coordinate with banquet operations, kitchen, décor, and service teams
Ensure smooth execution of events as per client expectations
Maintain accurate records of bookings, contracts, and payments
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
Follow up with clients for repeat business and referrals

Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Sales-driven mindset with attention to detail

Requirements

Proficiency in MS Office and basic sales software
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business, or related field (preferred)
1–3 years of experience in banquet sales, hospitality sales, or event management
Freshers with strong communication skills may also apply
On-site presence during events may be required
