Job Description

The Steward plays a key role in the restaurant’s front-of-house operations by ensuring timely and courteous service to guests. This role includes taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area to ensure guest satisfaction.



Key Responsibilities:
• Greet guests politely and assist with seating when required.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and pass them to the kitchen/bar.
• Serve food and drinks in a professional manner.
• Ensure tables are properly set before and after each service.
• Clear plates, glasses, and cutlery promptly and reset the tables.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area.
• Follow all restaurant policies and service standards.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely service.
• Respond to guest needs or requests courteously and efficiently.

Requirements

• Experience: 6 months to 1 year preferred, but freshers with good attitude may be considered.
• Education: Minimum 10th or 12th pass.
• Skills:
• Basic communication skills
• Good grooming and hygiene
• Ability to work in a team
• Basic understanding of food and beverage service
• Personality: Polite, energetic, guest-focused, and eager to learn.
